I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Master NLP Practitioner, a Certified Life Coach and a Certified Weight Coach.
I began my formal studies at the exclusive Bennett Stellar University in Florida, USA. I went on to train further in the ‘Austin Method’ of Advanced Structured Hypnotherapy with Valerie Austin in London, England and then continued my studies working with Brooke Castillo at the prestigious Life Coach School. As important as these formal qualifications are my life experience and intuition are key to my success. I am an advocate of the works of Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson and Dr Wayne Dyer.
Having trained extensively in a number of techniques from Advanced Structured Hypnotherapy, NLP and CBT (essentially methods of changing thought processes to eliminate negative behaviour) to life coaching and weight coaching, I work with clients from all over the world who feel stuck, unable to change patterns of behaviours or move forward with issues and problems. I use a variety of tools and techniques, unique to each client, to help them release anything and everything that is holding them back so they get free and feel fabulous. I help people help themselves.
I specialise in working with emotional eating/body image issues and weight management as well as issues of anxiety, low confidence, low self esteem, addictions and other debilitating issues which can make life feel like a battle. I’ve been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Network and in The Sunday Times, Harper’s Bazaar, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, BBC London, The Huffington Post, Talk Radio and The Times.
I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) , The Royal Society of Medicine, International Medical and Dental Hypnosis Association, The Professional Board of Hypnotherapy, The National Guild of Hypnotists, The Society of NLP, The International Hypnosis Association and The Life Coach School.
I’m very proud of my client testimonials – please take to a look.
I had a tough childhood and slipped into drugs and alcohol at a very young age. I was anorexic, bulimic, depressed and suffered terrible anxiety and crippling low self esteem. Finding comfort in my addictions, I spent my time functioning badly or in total isolation. I simply couldn’t handle life.
In my mid-twenties, I hit rock bottom and couldn’t continue. I decided something had to change. No matter what it took I was going to transform my life. Somewhere deep down inside I knew I was here for much more. I tried different forms of therapy but felt no one ‘got it’, that no one really understood me. So I decided to start studying and find a way to help myself.
From the day I made that change I haven’t looked back. Over the last 15 years I’ve studied all over the world and along my path I have come across people desperate for advice and guidance just as I had been years before. They turned to me asking for help. Having been there myself, I found it easy to appreciate the battles they were fighting. More and more people approached me and it became evident my coaching practice had to be set up.
These days I grab life with both hands and believe strongly that anything is possible. I believe that we can do or be or have anything we want once we truly manage our mind. Each experience from my own story taught me so much. I am grateful for every single lesson and now get to give back.
