Anxiety is often caused by a specific event that leads the person so anxious that they stop living their life to the full, often avoiding many situations.

Symptoms include nervousness, a racing heartbeat, clammy hands, dizziness, shortness of breath, a constant feeling that ‘something bad is going to happen’ and sometimes even trembling. All these symptoms can become very difficult to live with. Anxiety gets in the way of a functioning daily life.
