My journey into teaching was shaped by my unique life experience and over 20 years working with 9,000+ clients. Now, I’m passionate about teaching others build the skills to create meaningful, lasting change and step into becoming coaches themselves.
I had a tough childhood and slipped into drugs and alcohol at a very young age. I was anorexic, bulimic, depressed and suffered terrible anxiety and cripplingly low self-esteem. Finding comfort in my addictions, I spent my time functioning badly or in total isolation. I simply couldn’t handle life.
In my mid-twenties, I hit rock bottom and couldn’t continue. I decided something had to change. No matter what it took I was going to transform my life. Somewhere deep down inside I knew I was here for much more. I tried different forms of therapy but felt no one ‘got it’, that no one really understood me. So I decided to start studying and find a way to help myself.
From the day I made that change I haven’t looked back. I’ve studied all over the world and along my path I have come across people desperate for advice and guidance just as I had been years before. They turned to me asking for help. Having been there myself, I found it easy to appreciate the battles they were fighting. More and more people approached me and it became evident I wanted to help people others.
These days I grab life with both hands and believe strongly that anything is possible. I believe that we can do or be or have anything we want once we truly manage our mind. Each experience from my own story taught me so much. I am grateful for every single lesson and now get to give back.
I began my formal studies at the exclusive Bennett Stellar University in Florida, USA. I went on to train further in the ‘Austin Method’ of Advanced Structured Hypnotherapy in London, England and then continued my studies at the prestigious Life Coach School. I also trained as a Health Coach at the IIN. As important as these formal qualifications are my life experience and intuition are key to my success. I am an advocate of the works of Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson and Dr Wayne Dyer.
I have trained extensively in a number of different techniques from Advanced Structured Hypnotherapy, NLP and CBT to life coaching, weight coaching and health coaching.
Over the past twenty years, I worked with more than 9,000 clients globally. In 2014, I founded The Life Class – an online digital school designed to teach people how to understand their thinking and for those who choose, train as fully certified professionals. Alongside this, I was GQ Magazine’s resident coach and columnist, I wrote a No.1 international bestselling book called How To Do YOU!, I have been featured in mainstream broadcast media, and had the honour to work with countless celebrities, royalty and public figures as well as working with leading global brands.
Today, my focus is on teaching – creating courses that show people how their mind really works, and how to change it. Change your thinking, and you change your life. Whether applied personally or professionally, the impact extends far beyond the individual – creating a ripple effect that continues to grow.

It’s hard to put into words, but something really changed for me during this course. I feel more grounded, more aware and much more positive about my life.
I did such a lot of research into online Life Coaching courses before I settled on The Life Class with Jacqueline Hurst. I chose the course because it was a lot more in-depth than some of the others, and the direct communication with Jacqueline and other course students allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed to. I really enjoyed the weekly calls and the practice sessions with other students, which helped to develop our hands-on skills a lot quicker than if we were just following and completing modules. The tests were thorough and the feedback from Jacqueline was fantastic. Since completing the course I have implemented my learnings into my HR role and I am really confident to help those around me. This is an amazing course and I would highly recommend it if you want to become a Life Coach or simply just to learn a tonne of things about yourself.

Working in finance, you’re trained to analyse everything: risk, performance, and outcomes. What the Life Class with Jacqueline Hurst taught me is how rarely we apply that same level of awareness to our own thinking.
What surprised me most was how subtle yet profound the shifts were. You don’t always notice it happening in the moment, but over time you realise you’re calmer, more focused, and far more deliberate in how you show up, whether that’s under pressure at work, in decision-making, or in your relationships. That ability to step back and view situations from unexpected angles is where the real edge lies.
Jacqueline’s approach is direct and uncompromising in the best way. She strips away the noise and helps you see the patterns that drive your behaviour, and more importantly, how to change them. It’s not surface-level motivation; it’s a practical framework for thinking more clearly and performing at a higher level.
If you’re willing to do the work, The Life Class doesn’t just shift your mindset; it fundamentally changes how you operate, both professionally and personally, and how you apply your learnings to help others.

The Foundation Course gave me something I hadn’t found anywhere elseu2014clarity. I feel like I finally understand why I think the way I do, and how to change it.
I completed the Life Class Certified Coach Training in 2021 and found it to be a valuable introduction to coaching principles and practice. The course offers a very clear structure, with modules that consistently build on your learning. These are supported by live coaching calls with Jacqueline herself, which integrate your learning and reflect Jacqueline’s commitment to helping you become the very best coach you can be.
The experience gave me the confidence to step away from my employed role and start my own coaching business. Five years on, I can see that the Life Class course provided a solid foundation for my coaching journey and has played an important role in where I am today as an award-winning coach with hundreds of hours of coaching experience under my belt.

I didn’t realise how much my thinking was holding me back until I did this course. The tools are simple but incredibly effective. I use them every day.
I came into this feeling overwhelmed and stuck, and I’ve come out feeling lighter, more confident and more in control. It’s been a really powerful experience.
Training as a life coach through The Life Class has been completely life changing. What I learnt from The Life Class now forms the foundation of my own coaching practice and the work I do with my clients every day. I’m incredibly grateful to be able to pass on what I’ve learnt and support my clients in changing their lives by changing the way they think and what they believe is possible for them.

This course completely changed how I understand my own mind. I feel calmer, clearer and far more in control of how I respond to things in my life. It’s been a real shift.
It’s rare to find something that actually changes how you experience your day-to-day life. This did.
This wasn’t just a course, it was a shift. The way I think, respond and move through life feels completely different.
It gave me clarity I didn’t even realise I was missing. Everything feels simpler, calmer and far more intentional now.
Working with Jacqueline as my teacher was both a pleasure and an extremely valuable experience.
The live coaching calls were particularly impactful: being taught while coaching allowed me to immediately apply the tools and receive real-time, practical feedback. Jacqueline is highly attentive, deeply engaged, and provides very insightful guidance.
The materials, especially the audio recordings of her own coaching sessions, were also a great source of learning.
This training has strengthened both my coaching practice and my personal development. I highly recommend her program.

I recently completed the life class with Jacqueline, and I am so pleased that I did it. The course was challenging in unexpected ways, but I felt supported throughout the experience and I am excited to be launching this new part of my business. Thank you so much Jacqueline.

I found The Life Class to be genuinely impactful both inspiring and, at times, truly transformative. What stood out to me was how practical and focused it is; rather than spending time on theory, the course quickly gets into the real, meaningful work.
I looked forward to our weekly sessions they struck the perfect balance between honesty, challenge, and support. At times they pushed me well outside my comfort zone, but always in a way that felt safe and constructive.
I joined the course wanting to invest in my own personal development, and it came at exactly the right time in my life. The tools I’ve gained are simple yet incredibly effective in helping me better manage my thinking and approach situations with greater clarity and intention.
